I work with dancers to improve the foundations of their technique and to learn how to apply a handful of straightforward principles throughout class, rehearsals and performances.  I focus on correct placement and use of turnout, deepening dancers' understanding of their own technique alongside working on their development as an artist and individual.

Dancers work with me to prepare their classwork and solos for auditions; I also coach dancers through filming audition videos and taking audition pictures.  I experienced the highs and lows of the audition process as a dancer and completely understand the stress and pressure associated with it; my aim is to build dancers' confidence and help them show themselves to potential employers/schools at the highest possible standard.

If you are not a professional dancer and would like to learn more about ballet technique or work on particular steps please do contact me to book a session.  I have been teaching people with varied levels of dance experience for many years and very much enjoy working together to help them achieve this new set of skills.
